20th Ave Memory

I cannot imagine a better blush ball dahlia. The tight ball-shaped blooms are packed with petals and and are so numerous that I stop dead-heading midway through the season. In return the plants blessed me with more blooms, seeds and tubers than I could ever use.

The summer color is brighter, a light pink, than the creamy blush fall bloom. My only critique is that I wish the plant were half a foot taller. Perhaps more frequent dead heading could help that 😜

All tubers offered for sale in 2024 were grown from my stock that tested negative for DMV/DCMV, INSV, TSW and TSWV in fall 2022 and again in spring 2023. In October 2023, ten of the 76 20th Ave Memory plants I grew were tested as part of a random 10% sample. All of those plants were negative for DMV/DCMV, INSV, TSW and TSWV.
