Tuber Sale information
All of the dahlia tubers that we sell are grown by us on our farm near North Star, Ohio. On my farm I plant only dahlia cuttings from clean plants — those testing negative each spring for Dahlia Mosaic Virus Impatiens Necrotic Spot Virus, Tobacco Streak Virus, and Spotted Wilt Virus. I rogue anything with weak growth, signs of disease, or any plants not growing true to type.
Tuber orders ship in the spring once the weather permits, generally in late March and early April. There is an opportunity to request preferred a shipping date (3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22) at checkout. I offer USPS Priority Mail shipping within the continental United States.
All orders ship for $12. I will combine shipping for orders placed on the opening day of the sale. Please use the coupon code FREE for second and subsequent orders. There is also an option for local pickup if you are near New Weston, Ohio.
Please inspect your order upon receipt. I guarantee our tubers to be healthy, viable and true to name. If you have an issue with your order, please contact me. I will refund your purchase for my errors (blind tuber, mislabeled tuber, broken neck, etc.). I cannot be held responsible for weather-related rot, pest damage, or neglect.
